    3. This is the first time I have seen this website and it is very interesting. I am not a part of the Fire Lands because our family settled here in 1874 or so but I now own small piece of farmland that is part of the Firelands and had traced it back to the original sherriff sale. It has been divided and divided and divided but I think I have or had all the information and it is very interesting. Especially to be living in the middle of such historic land. I will go back and read all you have written as I have time. Author: WayneVO Surnames: Kennedy, Gorman Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.ohio.unknown/13325/mb.ashx Message Board Post: I'm looking for information on this couple. They are my Great Grandparents. I've found them in the Census' but i have no clue how to find out where either came from. Levy M Kennedy: b. Dec 1856, Ohio. 1910 Census shows him in Clinton, Vinton, Ohio. Alice Kennedy: b. Jun 1864, Ohio. Maiden name is unknown. 1930 Census shows her living with a sister, Stella Gorman and Stella's children Dale & Gail. (cute) Investigating Dale & Gail I found their mother to be Doratha E Gorman. I'm not sure what is up with the name change, but i couldn't find a maiden name via this route either. I'm not expecting to get much help on Levy, the family suspects that he wasn't always a Kennedy. But, if anyone has a clue about who Alice was and who her parents are I'd appreciate the help. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
