Decker, 46, of Scott, died Wednesday in Lima Memorial Hospital a short time after his admittance. He was stricken by a heart attack at a Lima bus station while he was enroute home from a trip to Chicago. He is survived by his Widow Grace: three daughters, Mrs Almeda Speakman and Mrs Patricia Fruchey, both of Van Wert, and Mrs. Geneva Darras of Ohio City; two sons, Rex of Haviland and James of Scott. His mother, Mrs. Mary Decker of Scott; two sisters, Mrs. Vada Hockenberry of Scott and Mrs. Armilda Norris of Van Wert and a brother Leon Decker of Scott. Rites will be conducted at 2 pm at the Scott Pentecostal Church, Rev. Vernon Roenranz officiating. Burial will be in Scott Cemetery in charge of the Didrick Funeral home. The Census was taken in May, so I think she was born in the fall of 1908. I did a search on find a grave.com for a Grace Decker that I think is likely to be your relative. The transcription has Woodland Union Cemetery, Van Wert, VAn WErt, Ohio Grace O. Decker Birth:Oct. 17, 1908 Death:Oct. 13, 1963 You could write to the state for a copy of the death record, or ,try writing or emailing the funeral home that took care of Ward Decker's arrangement. Looking at the photo back you posted I see that there is cut off the name of the baby _ looks like it ends in and n. Also son of ---h &Dorothy Fox Looking in the 1930 Census, I found Ralph and Dorothy Fox in Tallmadge Ohio. I know there was a Polsky's in Akron which is not far from Tallmage. Anyway, at the time Raplha nd Dorothy had two children Ralph C( Born 1922) and Kathryn, born 1925. They could have ahd more children after that , but no way for me to know. Ancestry has the elder Ralph and Dorothy as having passed away. However, The younger Ralph C. Fox (age 88) was found still living in Akron. He may know if his sister is living or if this is another child of his parents, since the photo looks a little later than the 20's You could send him a copy of the photo to see if it is a match. If you dont want to , I can send him a print out of the photo and mail it to him. I can always let you know.
