The dates on those often vary and can be off by several years in either direction. The ship manifests pre Ellis Island don't have much information on them, so connecting a particular person can be difficult (especially if they are traveling alone). The age of the person is helpful. This was on Family Search, but without knowing his age, there's now way to confirm. Heinrich Friedrich Norden Male Event(s): Birth: 06 JUN 1830 Altenboitzen, Hannover, Preussen Christening: 11 JUN 1830 Kirchboitzen, Hannover, Preussen Marriages: Spouse: Catharina Marie Hogrefe Marriage: 13 NOV 1865 Kirchboitzen, Hannover, Preussen site link: http://www.familysearch.org/eng/search/frameset_search.asp?PAGE=/eng/search/ancestorsearchresults.asp ---------------------------------------------------------- This record shows a Henry Norden, age 25. There was also a Fritz Norden, age 10. Unfortunately the record doesn't list place of residency, relatives, etc. Again, can't confirm without knowing his date of birth. Stanley Franke was born Stanley Frankenstein and shortened name in 1920's before you had to go thru the courts to do so. His son by a previous marriage, Donald Stanley Frankenstein, dropped the last name and went by Donald Stanley. I presume this was done after the parents split or whatever happened. Donald was born March 6, 1921 in Chicago and died January 1977 in Rocky River,Cuyahoga,Ohio. Does this info help you in any way to further your inquiry into mine? Donald evidently dropped the last name of Frankenstein as I found Social Security death date as January 1977 under Donald Stanley in Ohio. Parents either divorced or she died giving birth to another child. Stanley shortened last name to Franke and married my mother and we lived in California.
