I am also searching for Amanda Walters b. 10-26-1886 Magoffin co, Ky d. 10-13-1956 in Middletown Ohio. Amanda's maiden name was Dyer and she could've even went by Mandy! I am currently searching for Amanda's grave but so far haven't been able to locate her and Woodside Cemetary says she isn't buried there but all information says that she is? So any help locating her grave would be very appreciative? We are not certain if she is buried with Thomas or not and trying to locate that information for a family friend. One of them was Mesteller Joseph died in 1909 Virginia, his wife was Maggie. They had two daughters Maggie (b cc 1906) and helen (b cc 1904). His widow remaried to Abdell. They lived in Norfolk. Maggie and her second husband maybe divorced. Mesteller Louse lived in India Gary Lake, in the 40's. They were from Hungary Abaújvar. Mesteller Joseph was born in Zsujta. He lived in toledo, he died there in 1954. His sisters were Mrs Andy Yager Zanesville OH, John Dusci (ducsai) Brownsvill Pa, Mrs Frank Kovacs Uniontown Pa. I know these details from his obit. an ther mesteller Family lived also in ohio area. They are the descendents of john aén Kopis Elizabeth. They were all from the same area. It would be great to talk people who know them, or may descendants of them. And there were a Mesteller family in Texas. I believe there was a link or an email address for a Lett family or Lett settlement researcher. I did not see any mention of your Charles in anything I read, but it looks like there were some lines that lost contact with the settlement people over the years. I think it is likely that your family is connected. Let me know if you need help finding these links. I assumed you had already pursued them and came up empty, so I did not save them, but I can probably find them again if you need them. And thanks for the tip. I hadn't look at that Lett family before. You are probably right that there is some connection. I'm particularry interested in the name Aquilla Lett because in the 1880 census there is an Aquiulla Lett in Auglaze, Miller, Missouri. And this is the area where I found my grandfather Charles Sumner Lett with his first wife and family in the 1900 census and this is the area where Charles & Emma Johnson were married so I wonder if there wasn't some connection to the Auglaze area Lett family also.
