My father was born in 1899 and I believe his first full-time job was with Godman. There are four rows of salespeople pictured, including one lady and 35 men. My father is in the picture, third row up and third from the left. I could probably get my wife to scan it and send it if you like. http://www.drc.ohio.gov/web/executed/executed01.htm This site names those executed in Ohio from the year 1897- the present. It shows the person's county of residence as well as their photo. A friend had an old story circulating in her family for decades about a Great Uncle put to death in Hamilton Co. in the early 1900's. She could never confirm the rumors, and after doing some research on Ohio executions, I came across this site. She not only was able to confirm the story she'd heard, but now has a photo of him. Posting it here in case it may helps someone else, April

I have heard of the Hajek's, but i don't think they lived there. I have a book that lists all of the Kipling resident's since the early 1900s. Across the road there is a road called "Bohemian Rd". It used to be a town "Bohemian Town". Do you think maybe they lived there? I have a friend who lives on Bohemian Rd. I just found this site and it’s great! And FREE!!! I was looking for 1801-1808 probate records, so I don’t know the newer stuff. There is an index – just type in 1 for the volume and 0 for the page and the old school indexes will pop up. This I do know – the index isn’t complete My search was for Jeremiah Lehew and Fielding Lehew They told me to go to Estates and go through the index – so I do and it has Fielding, 1808, but not Jeremiah. So I save that page – then go to Probate, and put in Vol. 1 and page 160 (was on the index) And it popped up Well, I was doing this for a fellow researcher and he had given me the page numbers (I’m guessing he got them from a book) So I stay in Probate and do Vol 1, and page 65 & 69 – and sure enough Jeremiah is there! Not huge entries to be sure but an entry ;-) That’s my latest, lol Happy hunting! Gibson were married on February 19, 1902 in Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., Ohio. Brautigan appears on her and her husbands death notices, so it might be a good idea to see about getting a copy of the death certificate, as it may list her parents names. You can also request a copy of her Social Security Application. http://genealogy.about.com/od/online_records/a/ss5_request.htm Her Social Security information is: GIBSON, ELIZABETH, born 20 Jul 1869, Died 15 Jun 1967, Social Security Number 299-46-4491 Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
