Hi list, for those with English ancestors the Yesterdays site,( link below) has been updated with hundreds more records with thousands of names concerning folks found on official documents in the mid England County of Derbyshire. However people from all over the British Isles appear, either as seeking a Settlement to move to a new place or in Removal Orders ,being sent back to places outside the County. Law and Order lists all types of misdemeanours and statements from persons involved at the time. Hello, My husband that is now dead never knew his mother's birth name or his grandmothers even though he asked many times. His mother was Wanda Jo born Sept 12, 1934 in McAlister, Ok. her death cert. the name Moss was put as maiden name which is not what was put on her birth cert. and her mother was Doris Nigh born 1918 and died in 1992 in Modesto and Nigh was her married name she married a man named Moss sometime when Wanda was young and Wanda used that name for as long as she can remember. Wanda did remember that McKay or something was once used as her mothers maiden name. Wanda had a daughter named Debbie she gave away that was born between 1951 and 1954 in McAlister or Oklahoma City my husband and his brother looked for many years to find her and never could they were only able to find the 1 brother. Wanda never said who she gave her daughter to or the daughters last name only her name was Debbie and she had 1 picture of her. So finding parents can sometimes be really hard. I would love to know the maiden name of Wanda and her mother and find what name Debbie was born under and if she is alive and looking for her mother as there is only 1 brother left from the 4 sons and Wand is also dead.
