Abiel Cram and his wife, Sarah [Medlem] Cram, currently on-line that could be able to answer a few questions? (A) Since Sarah was the only one of John Medlem's 5 daughters who was left behind in Ohio while John Medlem and the other daughters moved to Iowa, did she ever keep in contact by letter with her father or any of her sisters? If so, is there any letter surviving today? If they did, was Caroline [Medlem] Judson (a daughter of John Medlem and wife of Daniel Judson) one of those sisters with whom Sarah Cram kept in touch? (B)Did Sarah ever come to visit with her father or sisters in Iowa in her lifetime or did her father or sisters come back for a visit with her in Ohio? (C) Exactly where did Sarah Cram die and where was she buried? I'd like the date of death, place of death, and name of the cemetery, please. I know less about her than the rest of her sisters. (D) Is there any picture of Sarah Cram or any of her siblings or parents lying around? Or is there any family Bible in existence that could have family records? To keep this short therefore I'd have to leave out the dates and all, these are the known descendants of John Medlem and his wife, (possibly named) Mary Sellers: DAUGHTERS: 1. Sarah [Medlem] Cram (wife of the Rev. Abiel Cram) 2. Mary [Medlem] Foreman (wife of Peter Foreman) 3. Elizabeth [Medlem] Miller (2nd wife of Harry Miller) 4. Caroline [Medlem] Judson (wife of Daniel Judson) 5. Susan [Medlem] Barnes (1st wife of Joseph Barnes) GRANDCHILDREN: 1. Mary Cram 2. John Fuller Cram 3. Horace Russell Cram 4. Sarah Cram 5. Hannah Eaton Cram 6. Nancy Cram 7. Mary Foreman 8. Christiana A. Foreman 9. John C. Foreman 10. Henry Foreman 11. William Foreman 12. David Miller 19. Mary Ellen Miller 20. John Judson 21. Mary [Judson] Hartley (wife of Almond L. Hartley) 22. Sarah [Judson] Hartley (wife of Almond's brother Philip Hartley) 23. Charles Judson 24. I gathered info about names of children of Sarah Cram from other messages on this rootsweb com but I based the names of all other grandchildren on Census records of Monroe County, Iowa and on my own family. Specifically, David Lee B. 1832 in OH or VA. I do not know his parents names, only that they were born in VA. He married Mildred Groshart in Coles county, IL. They later moved to Bates county, Missouri where they both are buried. I think he may somehow be related to your Thomas Jefferson Lee. Please let me know if this helps your research and if you have any info on David Lee. Thank you! Alician Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
