Alta, The following reference might help you: Weeks, F.E. Pioneer History of Clarksfield. 1908. Pages 37-39. "His [Smith Starr's] children were John Taylor, Mary, Rory, Peter, Deborah Ann, Smith and William Knapp." It gives some good information on Smith Starr who died in 1856 at age 72, and his wife Joanna Knapp who died in 1846 at age 63. There are also paragraphs on some of the children, Taylor Starr 1806, Mary Starr 1808, Rory Starr 1810, Peter Starr 1812, Deborah Starr 1816, Smith Starr Jr 1824, and William K. Starr 1825. I guess that's all the children. You should get a copy of those three pages before you proceed with your search.
