I am looking for James Patton (commonly misspelled Patten) and Rachel Davis. According to info given me by the HCCOGS they were married 14 Feb 1804 but have no idea exactly where. Also would be interested in case it might list names of parents and specific places of birth. 1804 seems early for a Huron Ohio marriage. Maybe m. in NY.Seems like alot of Huron pioneers came from there.I found many family groups in 1800 census from Aurelia NY area who were burned out in Conn. and settled in the firelands ,Huron county Ohio. --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. So I am sure that this marriage was out of county if in OH at all." Thanks for the suggestions though I will definitely check it out. The Pattons originally located in Stark County, OH and came into Huron in the 1840s.
