Hi Fellow Researchers, I have been on the list for some time, mostly I read and learn. I have known for some time that my GG Grandfather lived in Norwalk back in 1829, but never knew of his family. Until now! I found what I beleive is his family in the Passenger Arrivals at the Port of New York 1820-1829... Herman, Francois J. 43 Madalein 36 Francois 12 (my GG Grandfather) George 10 Madalein 8 (married Peter STANG ) Philippe 6 1/2 Marianne 4 Carl 1/12 All born in France and arrived in New York Aughst 3, 1829. My GG Grandfather got his citiztien papers in Norwalk in 1840, had a daughter born in 1842, so I am assuming her married in Norwalk also. About 1831 he had another daughter Catherine she married Joseph VOGT And a son Lewis, I beleive his real name was Aloysius. I am wondering if these names mean anything to any one or has any one ever came across any of them? Any help would be greatly appricated.......Penny
