These are long deep cuts in the stone from a Lawn Mower Deck. Some of the stones have been hit so hard that they been broken off. Some of the stone have completely twisted to the point that they are almost off there base. Hello List, CEMETERY DAMAGE. I was out to the Day Cemetery in North Fairfield Twp. today and I was so disappointed in what I saw that I become angry. I've been going to this cemetery every year since I was little girl. I started helping out in the cleaning out of over grown weeps in the Parrott/Parratt lot every year since 1997. Anyways what I saw was that someone has been running a lawn mower deck marks into the graves. Very deep long cuts. They were not there in Aug but there now and VERY FRESH marks to.
