Hi, I have been monitoring your site for some time hoping to find a link to my Stevens lineage. I have finally decided to seek your help. I would like to know in which county Tiffin, Ohio was during the period of 1840 through 1856. I am looking for an Abbie Stevens who was "born near Tiffin, Ohio in 1840". I have her life from age 16 and her travel to Wausau, WI. I have no idea if birth records exist, or who either of her parents were. How far from "near Tiffin" was she born, that is anybody's guess. She married Peter B. McKellar of Wausau, WI. and she spent her whole life in and around Wausau. Her older sister's name is Melissa Stevens, and she married Garry Judson in Wausau, Marathon Co., Wisconsin. I have no idea as to where she was born, nor when she went to WI. An uncle named Eli Stevens lived in Easton, also Marathon Co., WI. A letter I have suggests she had some brothers who fought in the Civil War, on opposite sides. One name, Henry, may be a brother, or he could be an uncle, or both. I have been to Tiffin,OH with no success. I also went to Wausau, WI with no luck as to her life before age 16.
