Yes, this is real. This lady knows what she is talking about and she sends the original alert from CNET. Notice that there is a link to read all about it. What am I trying to say??? UPDATE you virus protection constantly! If this saves ONE computer, then I'll take any abuse you want to send about posting this to the list. >Reply-To: <ikraus@accsandusky.com> >From: "Irene Kraus" <ikraus@accsandusky.com> >To: <ikraus@accsandusky.com> >Subject: FW: Virus Alert: ""Anna"" Virus >Date: Mon, 12 Feb 2001 18:26:32 -0500 >X-Mailer: Microsoft Outlook IMO, Build 9.0.2416 (9.0.2911.0) >Importance: Normal > >Yes, I know I don't usually forward a virus alert kind of message. Judy, Would like to take this opportunity to say thank you. Maybe you will get some flack, but this seems to be a real virus, not one of those silly hoaxes we seem to get from well meaning "friends". How can anyone object to real information? First thing I do with this info, is go to Symantec and check it out. Yup, Anna is there. It never hurts to be on your toes. thanks a heap. Like you say, if you saved one computer, but hey, since it spreads thru email, you probably saved more than ONE. Does anyone know where that hahaha sexyfun one is coming from? I get it at least once a week. delete delete delete enjoy the day. gypsy
