Hello Could someone tell me the names of the cemeteries there in Fitchfield twp. Huron Co. I am looking for the grave of Alzina MOREY/ABBOTT who died in Jan. 1837. She was married to Sylvester ABBOTT in 1835 in Huron Co., had a son John Morey ABBOTT in 1836. She was supposed to be the daughter of John MOREY and ? from Deer Isle, ME. Sylvester remarried and moved to Wood Co., OH. Is there any more MOREY buried in Fitchfield twp? Thanks for any help that you can give. Kay Palmer Kay239@aol.com

Hi Kay, There are no Morey's in the Fairfield or Fitchville Township Cemeteries (Pages 60 to 130) in the Huron County Cemetery Inscriptions index. There is no Fitchfield township in Huron County. I also checked for a Sylvester Abbott and Alzina Abbott in the cemetery index and did not find them.
