Looking for a connection between the Jacob Vail of Orange Co., NY 1820-1840 & the Jacob Vail/Vale in the Ohio River Valley area of PA/OH. My John Courtright of the Minisink Valley also moved to the Ohio River Valley area by 1800. A Jacob Vail bought land in Seneca Co., OH in 1841, by 1850 some of both Vail & Courtright families had moved from Jefferson co., OH to Huron/Seneca Co., OH. Thanks, Cindy
