CURTIS to Lucia RUSSELL. 3, Aug, 1836, in our Huron County, Ohio Marriages, 1815-1900, by Scheuer Publications, 1992, but not his second marriage to Mary DUDLEY. He did not appear in our 1870 Census Index of Huron County, Ohio. A brief item in our History of the Fire Lands, by W.W. Williams, 1879, indicates Arthur left Huron County, Ohio and "went west" about 1859. If so, this leaves open the possibility that Arthur W. CURTIS married Mary DUDLEY elsewhere than Huron County, Ohio. Details. Page 330. Section on Fitchville Township. In a discussion of the CURTISS family: "Arthur W. (CURTISS) took up lot eighteen in section three, but went west about 20 years ago (ca 1859). He married Lucia RUSSELL. There were three daughters in this family: Rhoda (Mrs. Calvin Parker), Arvilla (Mrs. L. KNOPP), and Sophronia (Mrs. Chauncy Crane).
