The only information I have on him is that he lived in Norwalk in 1903, and I only have that information because my g-grandfather, Charles F. LAMB and his brother Burt I. LAMB were named in their father's (Charles "Captain" LAMB) will. Charles C died in Michigan, and I think that is the state where Burt I was born. I didn't even know there was a brother until I saw the will. There was a third son, but he died in Kansas before Charles C LAMB. I know that is not much to go on but that is all I have. Do you think you might be able to help? Nancy Brown California >> Hi Nancy, Your Burt I. LAMB appears to have maintained a low profile during his stay in Huron County, Ohio. Except for one brief mention of a Burt LAMB in an article written by Henry Timman for the Norwalk Reflector newspaper in 1984, I could find no references to this name in all of our Huron County, Ohio publications. The one reference: Just Like Old Times, by Henry Timman. Book 5, Page 37. Article titled "This area has ties to the famous," dated Sept. 14, 1984. In this article, Henry Timman mentions that Superman has Norwalk connections. Namely, Christopher Reeves, noted for his Superman role in the movies, is supposedly a grandson or great-grandson of Burt and Harriet LAMB who lived in Norwalk. Their family home was at 69 W. Main Street for a number of years.Three of the children were Eunice, Willis and John, accoding to the city directory of 1922. Regards, Ken Shute, in MD (kwsroots@aol.com).
