Suzanne >> Hi Suzanne, Sorry, but I could find no record of a marriage between a Jacob MATHEWS and a Fannie SMITH in our Huron County, Ohio Marriages, 1815-1900, by Scheuer Publications, 1992. The closest I could come were two marriages by a Fannie Smith to a Rolson Winton 29 Apr 1851, and to a Sampson SHERMAN 1 Jan 1852. There was also a marriage between a Russell MATHEWS and a Margaret SMITH 31 Mar 1836, but this is later than the period you mentioned (1815-1824), and only the last names corresspond to those you cite.
