The Lorain County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society will meet on Monday, September 8, 2003 at the Oberlin Public Library, 65 S. Main St., Oberlin, Ohio. Refreshments and socialization begin at 6:30 pm, followed by a short meeting and the featured speaker at 7:00 pm. Professor Nicholas J. Zentos of Lorain County Community College will talk about the Ethnic Communities of Lorain County. He is the author of "Ethnic Communities of Lorain County: History and Directory" published in June, 1988. A question and answer period will follow the presentation.
