You will find that Tiffin is located on the line between Hopewell and Clinton Twp. in Seneca Co. I am ashamed to say I cannot identify the source but as it may prove helpful to you I will send it also. Seneca Co. was created in 1820 from land originally belonging to Huron Co. Huron Co. was created in 1815 from land originally belonging to Portage and Cuyahoga counties. Hope it helps. Denise
