Coleman m. J. Howard Bump 18 Jan 1871, Book 2, Page 42. You could write the Probate Court, Huron County Courthouse, 2 East Main St., Norwalk, Ohio 44857 for a copy of the Hickey/Bump marriage record to see if it might have the information you're looking for. I understand there would be a small charge for this service. In addition, in our Huron County, Ohio Cemetery Inscriptions book, there is a stone with an inscription for Emmett P. Hickey. It appears in the Grove Street Cemetery, New London Twp: Page 417, Section 1- Row 3. 18 Emmett P. Hickey, Mus'n, Co. A, 10 ME Inf. (GAR marker) ( no dates given). Next to this marker is the following: 19 John H. Bump, b. 10 Jul 1841, d. 1 Dec 1878 (mason's symbol.....).
