Section 1-- Row 6. 17 Ann_____, w/o Aven Umphry (?) d. 5 Oct 1830, age 22 y. This Ann would have been born ca 1808, just one year shy of the marriage date (1809) of your Ann, so it would appear that the inscription details don't fit your case. Also, the first name of "Aven" might be hard to corrupt for "Jacob." This Ann is also buried in the midst of a family with surname "Easter." I could find no reference of your Jacob and Ann Umphry/Humphrey, in our other Huron County, Ohio publications. Regards, Ken Shute

    3. Ken, Thanks for looking for info on Ann WARD UMPHRY and Jacob UMPHRY. It does appear that this wouldn't be the Ann UMPHRY I am looking for. I will keep looking. ;-) Thanks again!
