Hello Tom Neel and list, I just want to say thank you to Tom for the book, I recieved it today and found it to be a treasure chest of sorts on the man I was researching. I would recommend the book for the history it provides. It covers alot and provides information from the 1800's and early 1900's. I like to think of these columns as historical treasures which have been preserved and presented in an book form. Makes for great reading! I enjoyed the accounts of the train carrying the body of the assasinated President Abraham Lincoln through New London on its way to Springfield ILL. I'm sure as I get more into this particular branch that I'm researching, this book will proove to be a great tool. Thanks again Tom for bringing it to my attention. Maureen
