    3. Ripley news from THE PLYMOUTH ADVERTISER (Plymouth, Richland Co., Ohio) 22 August 1914 Volume 61, No. 40 SARAH WILLIS was numbered with the sick last Friday. The W.F.M.S. was in session Thursday with Mrs. ETTA ATVEO. G.A. HASSINGER and family were recent visitors of their daughter, near Tiro. Mr. and Mrs. F.P. BOARDMAN are entertaining a niece from Green Springs, Ohio. Miss GRACE KLINE of North Fairfield, is visiting at the home of her aunts, the Mesdames HASSINGER and DEWITT. J.W. PETTIT, wife and nephew, of Ripley Center, were the guests Sunday evening of A.R. ROBERTS and wife, in Delphi. Rev. J.J. WYETH, pastor of the Central Methodist Church, Mansfield, and his wife, were guests Thursday of W.G. HEAD and family. The Ripley court was in session last Friday in a case of attachment for $21, entitled C.D. NELSON vs. ED. MOSHIER. Judgment for the plaintiff. The MILLER family reunion will be held in Maring's Grove Aug. 29. This family has a large list of relatives and friends that enjoy their hospitality. The HOUSE-YOUNG family reunion was held last Wednesday in Sandusky. H.W. BARKER and wife, LEE BARKER, wife and children, were in attendance. The MARLOW - DONALDSON - MATTHEWS family reunion will be held in South Park, Mansfield, Saturday, Aug. 29. Several members of the family reside in Ripley. Material is now being put upon the grounds for the new sheds to be built at the Central school. The sheds will be 26x80 feet, to house wagons and teams when necessary. Quarterly meeting services were held at the Delphi church last Saturday, Rev. GALLIMORE presiding. Luncheon was served by the ladies of the church. Much business was transacted. R.L. BARKER will attend the district steward's meeting. Ripley township school is now in readiness for a splendid year's work. A new school hosue with a complete and modern equipment.
