    3. Ripley news from THE PLYMOUTH ADVERTISER (Plymouth, Richland Co., Ohio) 28 August 1915 Volume 62, No. 40 Miss GRACE SLOAN of Plymouth, was a recent Sunday guest of her father. Mrs. J.H. GLEASON, who has taken critically ill last week is much improved. Rev. COURT MILLER and wife of Ann Arbor, were recent guests of her parents in Ripley. GRACE L. FESSENDEN and daughter, MAXINE, were Sunday and Monday guests at the BLACKMORE home. FORD TRUXELL has purchased the CARSON property in Delphi, and will make his future home in our city. Mr. and Mrs. E.M. PATTERSON and daughter of Plymouth, were among the guests in the SIBBETT home last week. MARVELL DAVIS and brothers, CLAUDE and JAMES DELLARVER of Tiro, visited their uncle, L.B. TRUXELL and wife, last Sunday. Miss MABEL FROST of Plymouth, formerly a popular clerk in the M.I. MAYNARD store, was a recent guest of the MAYNARDS. J.W. PETTIT is running a new Altman Taylor threshing outfit. J.W. will get all of the grain from the straw if anyone does. Miss BOUGHTON of Bowling Green, who has been the guest of her sister, Mrs. WM. SIMMONS, for a few months, left for her home a week ago. Mrs. T.B. BLACK and son, ROSS, were in Mansfield Tuesday consulting an eye specialist. ROSS will take treatment for the removal of ulcers from his eye. E.D. HINCKLEY and wife, of Cleveland, and his mother, EMILINE HINCKLEY, of North Fairfield, were Monday dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. F.P. BOARDMAN, a week ago. MYRA McMULLEN, who has been a student for the past two years in the Plymouth High School, left for Marion last Monday, where she will don the white cap and apron preparatory to the training for a hospital nurse. ------------------------------------------- Transcribed and submitted by Amy E.
