WALTER LONG left Monday for Ada to attend school, and will make a specialty of civil engineering. J.W. PALMER and family, Mrs. J.H. MILLS, Mrs. WINNIE MILLS and children spent Sunday at Cedar Point. The schools opened Tuesday with the same corps of teachers with the exception of Misses KISER and SIMPKINS. Miss BYRD LOISTETTER of Cuyahoga Falls, was called home Monday by the death of her uncle, JACK McELWAIN. Mr. FARRASH and daughter, Miss MABEL, of Cleveland, were over Sunday guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. F.H. LONG. WM. BURWELL and family, A.H. HOOSE and wife of Chicago Junction, spent Sunday with their mother, Mrs. AMELIA D. HOUGH. Mrs. G.H. CRAFTS with her sister, Miss EMMA FOX of Plymouth, were callers Friday afternoon at the home of their aunt, Miss JENNIE DUBOIS. J.G. HANNA of Hiawatha, Kansas came east to attend the G.A.R. encampment at Detroit, and spent several days this week with some of his Huron County friends. O.O. GARRETT, who for the past few weeks has been in Norwalk, a member of the Board of Complaints, was relieved Tuesday of thisweek for an indefinite length of time. Friday of last week, JOHN, son of FRANK RUTH, fell from a bicycle, and broke his arm in two places. Dr. HOLTZ reduced the fractures.
