Subj: [OHHURON-L] Looking for information on surnames HEETER,WARREN and GOURLANG Date: 9/20/00 11:13:55 PM Eastern Daylight Time From: Kvwinery@aol.com Reply-to: OHHURON-L@rootsweb.com To: OHHURON-L@rootsweb.com Hello fellow listers. I just joined and am trying to find out more information on my grandmothers family. This is what I know. My grandmother, Mary Heeter, was born on a farm near Monroeville, Ohio on March 28.1869. Her father's name was John Heeter and his first wife was Mary Warren. They had three children,Jacob,Mary (my grandmother) and John. After Mary Warren died ,(sometime in the early 1870s ), John married Catherine Gourlang at the St. Joseph's Church in Monroeville on Oct 13.1874. I am trying to find more information on Mary Warren and Catherine Gourlang and trying to determine when the Heeter's came to Ohio. For Leo Mills. Hi Leo, I couldn't find much on your HEETER family.
