Back by popular demand, the Lorain County Chapter of Ohio Genealogical Society in conjunction with Lorain County Metro Parks will present a five part program of Genealogy for Beginners in the Carlisle Room at the Carlisle Reservation Center, 12882 Diagonal Road, LaGrange, Ohio. The series will run on Wednesday, February 11, 18, 25, and March 3, and 10 at 6:30 p.m. These programs will appeal to beginners as well as experienced genealogists in learning how to trace their family trees, now one of the fastest growing hobbies in the world. Topics will include exploring family resources, searching vital records, probate records, census records, libraries, and using the computer for genealogy research. The program is free, but registration is required.
