Thank you for the kind offer of the CARPENTER picture., however I don't know of anyone by the names of Elfa or Lera, so don't think I can claim it. I've written to my older brother, as he often remembers something I have forgotten. Also I did a quick search on Heritage quest, which I can use through our library, but did not find them. Elfa ,the mother's name , could be a nickname. Elfrada comes to mind. It seems to me there was a popular song in my father's day that was "Sweet Alfrada" If I find a connection I'll let you know.
