Doug, Your first mistake was giving the guy the information prior to collecting his debt. You were being nice and sometimes nice is not returned. In your particular case, being nice hurts. Second, it is not uncommon for a few people without scruples to take information, massage it, and post it as original research. It happens and it will continue to happen. When I add data to my line, I always use a footnote to identify where I found the information or identify a person who "gave" me the information. That, however, is just me. Why keep the identify of this person a secret? Post the name and email address of the culprit. That way the rest of us on this list will no NOT to share our information with him.
