    1. Re: [OHHURON-L] Question - Posting Info On-line without Permission?
    2. Hi Doug: I am so sorry to hear what happened to you regarding someone posting the information you paid for. I think you have every right to be unhappy about it, but one thing is for sure - most of the information available publicly cannot be claimed by any one person. I do a lot of research. I am happy to share with people if they pay or not. Some information I keep between the a special group of people who help me by donating money ahead of time. We all benefit, they get a sweet deal because I am the one doing the research, and it's a plus for me because I get some help with expenses and I enjoy it immensely. Information as you know is becoming more and more expensive. Ask for donations ahead of time and keep a tally of who sends what. Share the information but request they add your name on their research notes "as researcher who provided the information". I would rather be sure of the source than as one respondent mentioned getting it from the internet where people cut and paste so they will have the "biggest and best", and sometimes the WORST (incorrect) info. My grandpa had a saying that I think is appropriate here. It's one you really have to think on - and some people may not get - EVER. "What you give away you keep What you keep you loose." Remember - when you cast your bread upon the waters it comes back to you three-fold. I hope these suggestions aren't more than you asked for. Sue
