(You can see the names of Deckers listed in the index to this Cemetery Inscriptions book by going to the web site for HCC/OGS-- www.rootsweb.com/~ohhuron--, then clicking on "Archives', then clicking "Cemeteries", and finally clicking on the category "C-D" and scrolling to the surname Decker.) You cite the burial place of Eva as "Vermillion." Actually, this is a township in Erie County, not Huron County, Ohio. I have only two publications dealing with Erie county. One is the History of the Firelands, Comprising Huron and Erie Counties, Ohio, by W. W. Williams, 1879. The other is the Atlas & Directory of Erie County, Ohio, 1896. The former has no reference to Christopher or Eva Decker. The latter lists the following Deckers who appear to relate to your forebears: Property Owners: C. (Charles) Decker, Vermilion Twp, Section 1, 7.5 acres. C. & E. Decker, Vermilion Twp, Section 1, 15.6 acres. Residents (listed under Vermilion Village): C. Decker L. Decker E. Decker C.F. Decker.     3. Thank You Ken Schute. You have been a big help. I have been at that so called "Blank Wall" For a long time on this branch. You have given be so good lead to go to. We did have a big Decker Beal reunion every year before WW2 but while we were gone, the group decided they wanted a new historian. He forgot and left the book on top of the garbage can in the back yard and the rubbish man took it. It was a very complete history of the families. It seemed it was almost intentional If there is anything I can do for you in the San Diego Area just let me now. I am grateful and humble.
