She had a brother, Brace Herald b 1868 in Steuben Co, IN. Samuel Herald was son of William Herald b 1814/1817 in Parish Finvoy, Antrim, Ireland and Bridget Kane b 1817 in Ireland. They were married 18 Oct 1838 in Fremont, Sandusky, OH. Children were Samuel Eliza Jane b Feb 1844 in Green Creek, Sandusky, Oh Ellen Herald b 1846 in Green Creek, Sandusky, OH William Herald was son of James Hearl b 1785 in Co Antrim, Ireland and Rosa? b 1787/1790 in Ireland. Their children were: John Alexander b 6 Feb 1807 in Parish Finvoy, County Antrim, Ireland James b 1808 in Parish Finvoy Margaret b 1810/1814 in Parish Finvoy Mary Ann b 1810/1820 in Parish Finvoy Alexander b 1 Apr 1814 in Parish Finvoy William b 1814/1817 in Parish Finvoy Samuel b 1816 in Parish Finvoy Patrick b 1830 in Parish Finvoy Rose Ann b abt 1825 in Parish Finvoy Anne b 27 Apr 1828 in Parish Finvoy Elizabeth b abt 1835 in Ireland All the children emigrated to the US as did the mother.
