Lorain County Chapter of Ohio Genealogical Society in conjunction with Lorain County Metro Parks will present a five part program of Genealogy for Beginners at Mill Hollow Reservation from November 12 to December 17, 2003. This five part series will be held in the Vermilion Reservation Carriage Barn on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. These programs will appeal to beginners as well as experienced genealogists in learning how to trace their family trees, now one of the fastest growing hobbies in the world. Topics will include exploring family resources, searching vital records, probate records, census records, libraries, and using the computer for genealogy research. The program is free, but registration is required.
