Hi All, We had a suggestion passed on to us that makes a lot of sense. We will be adding a rough map of Huron County to the Plat Map page. It will have the two letter abr. so you will get a better sense of where your ancestors owned land. In the mean time, while waiting for this particular project to be completed, have you visited the Maps and History page already in place? There you will find several links to wonderful histories with many ancestral names included. There are three different links to be found here and if you had ancestors in Huron County early in the 1800s, these are all must reads.
