    2. Judy Kelble
    3. Hi All, I was cleaning out some of my emails and found that I could add quite a few URL links to our new Trivia page. If you have more please send them. I'm trying to stay away from obvious genealogy links such as Ancestry.com or 'my family.html'. There are no hard rules. Go to the HCC page and slide on down to the bottom of the page. You'll find a link to the Trivia page there. 3. Hi All, I have added a link to a page for listing Churches that are now on-line. Please let me know of any other churches on-line, so I can add them. Thanks. 2. Judy Kelble
    3. Hi All, I had sent a link to this mail list that will allow you to see satellite pictures of earth. Norman Porter suggested I put that on a page of the HC web site. Since we have no page that would accommodate such a link, I created a new one. I get a lot of virus warnings from other people and I'm sure you do, as well. There are several places on the web that explain what is and what is not a hoax. This seemed to not have anything to do with genealogy, but was an important thing to know. I have put that link on the Trivia page as well. To view our new Trivia page, go to the HCC web site (URL in my sig file below) and scroll down almost to the bottom of the page. There you will find a link to the new and longing to be larger Trivia page. If you have any web sites that you think might fit on such a page, please let us know about them. Also, I had forgotten that there were "quick links" at the top of our page. Some of them were dysfunctional <G>. I THINK I have them all fixed and will try to keep the gremlins out of the page. Thanks again to Norman Porter for pointing me in the right direction as to what the problem with the Archives was. 2. Nelson Porter
    3. Carolyn, Try the second mention of 'Archives' a ways down the page from the boxes. It will be the area with lines drawn across the page. That will get you there. I had a bit of a problem myself finding the maps. Nelson

    3. On the Huron County web site http://www.rootsweb.com/~ohhuron you will find a link to "Archives". When you get to that page you will find first, a link to the 1850 census records and the second link says 1845 Plat Map index. Click on the Plat Map link and you will be at that page. Read what Ken has taken the time to write. This explains what you will be seeing in the index itself. At the bottom of his explanation, you will find links to the index alphabetically for surnames. The third link is to a general Archive page that is being run by someone else. There is good stuff there, so don't miss that one either.
