This is for Michele Meyer Posner. Nellie Fisher Adelman, my aunt by her first marriage to Joe Fisher, just passed away last month. I believe she died on May 17th, but you should verify it in the Norwalk Reflector's obituary. On Tue, 19 Jun 2001 07:51:53 -0400 "Nancy L. Hi Jackie, I love my Norton Anti-virus !! I make sure I do the updates about once a week or at least every other week, to keep up on the new viruses that keep cropping up. Thanks for your kind reply. I've only had a computer for about 3 years, and did once get a bug, called my nephew and he came right over and got rid of it for me. What a nice relative, but then it cost me a few dozen homemade chocolate chip cookies. Very good Bartering. I hope all virusus have to come in an attachment. At least we can keep an eye out for them that way. Hi Mary, yes I got it from an attachment, I have a friend in Ohio that often redoes some of the things I send her, and I thought that was what she had done. I had a Norton Virus program, that was about a year old, but it didn't pick up this new virus, I now have Norton Systemworks 2001. Sure hope it does the job. If anyone asked me for the Huron County, Ohio naturalizations from 1850, a day or so ago, I might have sent the wrong two pages. One of the pages should begin with Charles Edward Agsten, the other page with Andrew Bachle. Email me again if you DID NOT receive the correct pages. I am sorry. Kathy Baker

The album is full of photographs taken in Fostoria, Findlay and Tiffin, Ohio. I am sending this out to all the lists for the nearby counties in the hope that someone is researching these families. I don't know all the relationships, but I do know that the following names and obits are in the book: Burns, Swope, Walters, Kuhn, Lonsway, Bisner/Bistner, Ridenour, Streng, Brickner, Wagner, King, Huss, Saunders/Sanders, Haas, Munger, Schurger, Stodt, Portz, Boner, Lang, Strenz, Schiffer, Marks, Lutz, Green, Father Charles Notheis, Yost, Rostetter, Emerine, Kelbley. If anyone is researching these names in this area, please let me know. Also, there appear to be people living in Napoleon, and I don't know if that is in one of the counties I've sent this out to or not. Any help will be appreciated. Jackie, Would you tell me if you got that virus from an attachment ? A good Anti-virus program is very helpful and saves money in the long run. It will prevent any infected attachment from coming into your mail box, and quarentine it. ( as long as you keep updating the virus definitions with it). You are not the first innocent person to send along a virus, so don't feel too bad about it. And thanks for not sending anything out until you got it fixed. I want to thank all the very kind people who supplied me w/ the info that I needed. This is indeed a great bunch of people. I was able to make a few connections that had eluded me! This Courtright family has been my main focus for quite some time, so fresh information was welcome. Cindy
Thank you Cindy for sticking up for me, I didn't even realize I had the bug till it had sent out hundreds of attachments, it really made me feel bad. It came from a friend that I was used to getting attachments from, and of course she got hers the same way. We couldn't clean our comp. ourselves, it was so badly infected so it cost us with a repair bill to our comp.man. Just got it back night before last, and have been trying to go through all the mail and explain to everybody. Some people got down right nasty. I have two pages (an index) of naturalizations in Huron County in the 1850s. If you'd like these scans to check the names I can send them to you. Let me know. Kathy Baker
Would be interested in following up on any Sanders that went through Huron County in the early 1800s. One family settled in Erie County and another went on to Lake County Indiana. This family may have originated in Groton MA where they are recorded in the Vital Records as Sanderson. When they were in New York, they were listed as Sanders. Sometimes it is recorded as Saunders. Any Sanders/Saunders in that time period of late 1700's to 1835 would be interesting to me if they came out of the New York geographical area. Perhaps to work on the Erie Canal? Jean Sanders Haverhill MA
