    3. It seems that the couple had moved to Millstadt Township. St. Clair, Illinois by 1910. April census for Henry F. The children listed from age 14 down were all born in Missouri. Alois, for example, age 10. Elizabeth, wife, born Ohio, parents Germany as is Henry F. Married 16 years (1894) The image for "occupation is indecipherable in my source. Note that the town is more than likely Belleville. I didn't check but this town may be just across the Mississippi from St. Louis. You might check the name for present day people. This is interesting but have no idea what it means. http://genealogy.mohistory.org/genealogy/record/355:882 The census source I have does not take into consideration "off" spellings so I couldn't find them any further. 1. [OHHURON] WICKWIRE Family Photograph
    2. Shelley Cardiel
    3. I've "rescued" an old photograph of Max WICKWIRE which was taken at the Viaduct Studio in Columbus, OH. The photograph was sent as a postcard by Max to his sister Gayle WICKWIRE on 23 Apr 1913 from Columbus to Gayle at Western Reserve Collage in Cleveland OH. Max appears to be in his 30's at the time. Based on limited research I was able to locate the following information regarding Max and his family: Max Meridith WICKWIRE was b. 6 or 9 Jun 1887 in Bellevue, OH to parents Frank C. WICKWIRE (b. 27 May 1858 in Bellevue, OH-d. 1939) and Ivadell or Iva Delle TENNERY or TENNESY or JENNERY or HENERY(b. Sept 1860 in Clyde, OH-d. 1919). Max was one of 6 children born to this couple including, Gale or Gail; Max M.; Dora Belle; Jessie; Son; and Margaret Rose WICKWIRE, all born between 1885 and 1903. Max appears to have married more than once, 1st on 21 April 1909 to Evelyn GREEN of Hot Springs, AR and then April 1, 1910 to Ione DENNER (dau of William G. DENNER and Ione POORMAN of Berea, OH) in Cuyahoga, OH. The marriage documents for Max and Ione indicate that neither were ever married? In 1917 on draft documents he was listed as single though on 10 Oct 1917 he did take out a marriage license with Alice SCHULTZ in Muskingum Co. OH, but it was noted as "returned unused". He later was married to Louise ? and died 28 or 29 Jul 1925 in Aurora, NY of Morgan, OH and is buried in the McPherson Cemetery in Clyde, OH. Records indicate that he was a traveling salesman. Census records provide the following details: 1900 census of Dunkirk Village, OH: Frank C. WICKWIRE, age 42, born May 1858, married 17 years, born OH, parents born ?/OH, a Traveling Salesman Iva T. WICKWIRE, wife, age 39, born Sept 1860, married 17 years, 5 children/4 living, born OH, parents born NY/OH Gail WICKWIRE, dau, age 14, born Sept 1885, born OH Max WICKWIRE, son, age 12, born Jun 1887, born OH Dora WICKWIRE, dau, age 10, born Oct 1889, born OH Jessie WICKWIRE, dau, age 8, born Mar 1892, born OH + 1 Boarder 1910 census of Green Creek Township, Sandusky Co., OH: Frank WICKWIRE, age 51, born OH Iva WICKWIRE, wife, age 49, born OH Gayle WICKWIRE, dau, age 24, born OH Max WICKWIRE, son, age 22, born OH Jessie WICKWIRE, dau, age 18, born OH Margaret WICKWIRE, dau, age 6, born OH 1920 census of Cleveland, OH: - a lodger in the home of Louis C. & Alice BELLANGER Gale WICKWIRE, age 33, born OH, parents born OH, a Public School Teacher 1940 census of Cleveland Heights, OH: Gale WICKWIRE, age 52, born OH, a Public School Teacher I am hoping to locate someone from Max's family so that this wonderful old photograph can be returned to his family.
