I, too, have a Deetz. There is a family record that James Lowe m 4-9-1830 Elizabeth Deetz, probably Jefferson Co, OH, but there was no Deetz in the county in the 1830 census. Jefferson County was a brief stop on the way through. My Cunninghams left Holmes County for Williams County.
