I guess it gets hard to find answers if you don't ask questions so it must be time to post something . I am looking for information on the ancestors and descendants of Frederick Marmet and Cordelia Mackey. I'm especially interested in learning more about the descendants of Frederick's siblings and what happened to them. Also, have been trying for some time to place Cordelia in the appropriate family. I've had no trouble finding Mackey's in Holmes Co. but am confused as to just which family group she may belong to. Other than her father's name was William Mackey and he died in 1869, I really have no information on her family of origin. Does Cordelia Mackey name appear in the 1860 Holmes Co. census anywhere? My g-grandfather is the Friederich Marmet that was born Mar. 4, 1851. He was named after a brother that died before he was born. I believe his parents probably had other children after coming to Ohio that I haven't discovered yet. Would like to know what happened to the descendants of his siblings.
