My people were Winesburg rather than Trail. But they are close. What names are you looking for? I have some records. Schools? Don't know if they have any old records, unless you mean the teachers? Births you had to go to the courthouse, probate division. Only two people at a time, space is limitied <G> These will be the large original books. Deaths, I'm not sure if they are here or at the library? Churches, estates, maybe deeds are on film at the library. There is a nice new library to visit now. Trail is south east of Winesburg. The church and cemetarty are still there. I don't think the church is still in use, but it wasn't run down 2 yrs ago. I know there are records for the cemetary in the cemetary books. I'm not sure about the church records. I can't remember for sure what they had for Trail. Rev Crantz was good with records and I know he traveled there also. Am not sure where and when for the historical society. Did you check the Holmes Co genweb page? What surnames are you searching there? gin
