Maybe someone knows something about these folks: The 1850 census for Paint Twp, Holmes Co, OH shows: Christian Horine, age 50, Germany Catharine " , age 46, Germany Catherine Figart, age 70, Germany Christian and Catharine's son, Christian, was living in Tuscarawas Co, OH in 1850. The census info for him: Christian Horine, age 24, Germany Catharine " , age 19, Germany Phillip " , age 5/12, OH Marilla Sheaver , age 15, Germany It seems there MUST be a connection between the HORINEs, Catherine Figart, and Marilla Sheaver (who I figure was a misspelled Maria Schafer!), but I haven't figured out the relationship. The elder Catharine Horine was Catharine Rosine Horine, maiden name not yet known. Her daughter-in-law, the younger Catharine Horine, was Catharine Marker, daughter of Phillip and Katherine (Bauer) Marker. From what I've found, these families all attended Zion Church at Winesburg, OH. Maybe this info will help someone else! Cindy Kimes
