    1. [OHHOLMES] Harry Stone in Holmes Co.,Ohio
    2. Larry & Julie Stone
    3. I have been trying to find birth place and parents of my grandfather, Harry E. Stone. Harry was tragically killed in 1910 in Franklin County, Ohio when my father, Sylvester Stone, was only 9 months old. On my father's birth certificate, Harry listed his place of birth as Holmes County and his age at last birthday as 35. This was in 1909 making Harry's birth approx. 1874. I am currently searching each page of the 1880 census records for Holmes County but without a township this is a very difficult task. I know this is asking a lot but if anyone in Holmes County is doing research and has anyway of checking birth records or other sources for that year it would be most appreciated. If anyone has come across the "Stone" name in their research, any leads or suggestions that could assist me in my search would be greatly appreciated. Some individuals have thought his name may have been Stine in Holmes County and perhaps he changed the name to Stone. Only a guess. Larry E. Stone lstone@your-net.com
