I am descended from George Washington BOON(E) 1777-1857 and Nancy Agnes HUTCHISON BOON(E). They lived close to Fredericksburg, but in Salt Creek Township, Holmes County. Their son James (1802-1880) married Tamer TRUESDALE. Their daughter Maria (born 1813) married Hugh TRUESDALE (1812-1883). Tamer and Hugh were the children of James & Elizabeth CLARK TRUESDALE. Maria and Hugh Truesdale were supposedly childless. Maria appears to have still been living when her father died in 1857 but she and Hugh supposedly were childless. I have been corresponding with a descendant of Hugh and his second wife Tamer HANNA (1823-1893). Hugh's will filed in Johnson County, MO includes sons James and David. From the 1870 census, James would have been born in 1854 and David in 1856. I have a death date of July 27, 1858 for Maria. Is there anyone who could help me confirm if James and David are the sons of Maria and if this death date is correct? She is supposed to have died in Millersburg. We cannot find a marriage date or location for Hugh Truesdale and Tamer Hanna. He bought land in Johnson County, MO in 1866. He and Tamer had children born in Illinois and Indiana before that. Their son John William was born in 1860. James & Tamer Boon(e) and their younger children along with the family of Eli Truesdale also left Ohio by 1869. James Boon(e) bought land in Johnson County, MO in 1869. Eli (Tamer & Hugh's youngest brother) is on the 1870 Johnson County census. James & Tamer Boon(e) had a daughter Elizabeth who married Thomas CAMERON back in Ohio and then moved to Colorado. There is an Alex CAMERON, age 32, listed near Eli Truesdale in the 1880 census. There is a John CAMERON age 45 close to Hugh Truesdale. Does anyone know if Thomas, Alex and John Cameron are connected? Also in the 1880 census near Eli Truesdale is Alex HANNA, age 84. Does anyone know he is connected to Tamer Hanna Truesdale? Vickie Boone Pavelko [email protected]
