Hello Joseph, I am curious as to whether the "Beasecker" surname in your posting might actually be "Reasecker", a variation of the surname "RUEGSEGGER" (pronounced and often spelled in public records as "Ricksecker). Branches of the family now appear to spell the surname Resegger, Ricksecker, etc. I am curious as to the source for the surname "BEASECKER"? The RUEGSEGGERs came from Switzerland. I should also note that I have "KOLB" ancestry from the village of Hohenzell, (formerly in) Kreis Schluechtern (now Main-Kinzig-Kreis), Kurhessen (now Hessen), Germany, ca. 1700. Unfortunately, I have not yet taken opportunity to pursue the KOLB family in that area. I just received this obit. on Friday and was wondering if Nina Shearer Holderman was related to your Shearer family. It's a long shot, but my wife's Holderman family came from Holmes/Tuscarawas Co. area 1812-1848 and resettled in Elkhart, IN 1848. Nina A. Shearer Holderman Y d. March 01, 1960 James F.
