    3. Hi, I wonder if anyone has information on George Arnold (1752-1835) who was probably born in PA and is said to be buried in Holmes County, Ohio. My information indicates he was a Rev. War Veteran. His wifes were 1) Catherine Leatherman and 2) Eva Plumb (abt 1770-1855). This family resided for some time in Somerset Co., PA (abt 1788-1822) before he moved on to Tuscarawas Co., Oh and a year later in 1823 to Holmes Co. to live with his son Jacob (1787-1865) married to Catherine Drushel (1789-1871). My information indicates George Arnold was buried near Millersburg, OH. If you have information, please let me know. thanks. - Adam Walters

I found most of my early information in a book in the Millersburg Library. Arnold-Muskets to Missiles by George Irvine Arnold. (There is an address if you want to email me privately). It starts with George 1752-1835. He feels George was the son of Agnes Stoner and Daniel, son of John George & Maria Ann. But no proof then. George was at Valley Forge winter of 1777-78 with his musket. A 7th generation grandson was a missile commander. Discharged March 22, 1779. There is a lot more info there. Jacob Arnold and Catherine/Daniel Arnold and Keziah Williams/Jane Arnold and William Stahl is my line. 3. Hi, Adam! I'm not answering in a very timely manner, but I must have lost your message! Just found it as I was cleaning out my email box. I have a Catren Arnold (b. OH) married to John Fisher (b. OH) (my g-g-g-grandparents). I don't have dates on them, but their son Isaac was born in 1830 in Holmes Co, OH and later moving to Iowa where he died in 1914. Anything connect yet? I'm thinking Catren might be a granddaughter to your George, and "Catren" might be a takeoff of one of his wives: "Catherine" Leatherman? I haven't done any searching in Holmes Co -- just joined the list to get a feel of names - many of which are names I recognize from Iowa. Thanks! ...mkm >Hi, > I wonder if anyone has information on George Arnold (1752-1835) who was >probably born in PA and is said to be buried in Holmes County, Ohio.
