Seeking information on my ALEXANDER BELL line. He was born in 1787 in Scotland. Spent time in Allegheny or Washington Co. Pa., then on to Stubenville, ohio and Holmes county. He had the following children in Pa. with first wife? W.C, b. 1815-1820, Alexander b. 1818, male, 1820-1825, Samuel C. born 1821. ALEXANDER married Nancy Mcdonald in 1825 in Stubenville, Ohio . They had the following children: (all in Ohio) ANN b. 1826 (she married William Truckenmiller) JAMES b. 1828 (he married Rachel Hutchinson) CATHERINE b. 1836 (she married William Peckham moved to Iowa) MARGARET b. 1841, jOSEPHb. 1845, THOMAS b 1846. My Line is JAMES BELL who married Rachel Hutchinson in 1852, Holmes county. Their Children: NORMANDA b. 1854 (she married David Delano Smith) JOSEPH ALBERT b. 1855, MARY L. b. 1857, WILLIAM A. born 1859, CHARLES V. born 1862 ( he married Mary Peterson) DELANO b. 1868, LILLIE b. 1870. This family lived in Holmes county until around 1880 and moved to ashland, Wayne, Richland or Knox counties. Interested in finding ALexander's siblings and parents.
