Hi June. Sorry for the delayed reply. I haven't been in my computer for awhile. Thanks for the info. People have been very generous and I think I have almost everything I need. Genealogists seem to be consistently the most generous people I run accross. Someone sent me copies of 1860, 1870, 1880 census records that would, I think, complete the proof...but, the records they sent don't show state or township. I'm almost there. Thanks, Peter P.S. If you happen to have access to these census records. Would it be possible for you to verify that they are from Ohio and find out which township? 1860: Neville, Jonathan (Born PA) 55, Sarah 54 (b. They will however expect documentation for all dates shown. Did you get all the marriage and death records that you could? Deeds sometimes show a transferring of land to children. Church records for Ohio are scant. Tax records won't show relationship. Good luck. I'm pulling together the paperwork for a Sons of the Revolution application, but my documentation is week for a few enerations. I've listed the four generations that I have only week proof for at the bottom of this e-mail. I have census records from 1850 through 1880 showing the lineage. This helps, but the Sons of the Revolution state that while they don't exclude census records, they should be enhanced by vital records, wills, deeds or something that provides stronger proof. So my question is: does anyone have any wills, deeds or any other records of any kind (in addition to the census records that I already have) that would help prove the week links listed below? I'd appreciate any help that your might be able provide. Thanks in advance. Peter Neville These are my weak links in summary: 5. Samuel Tilden Neville (1876-1965) OH>CO, m.
