    3. Dear Doug: While I don't offer any contact advice, I just wanted to say GOOD FOR YOU. I have an ancestor buried in a pioneer cemetery in Wayne Co. which is almost lost. I think it should be part of the real estate contract that if a cemetery is on your land, you should be required to provide reasonable maintenance or access for maintenance to be performed. I applaud your extensive efforts to see that your loved ones have a resting place that remains in decent condition. Among the buried is John Knox (1796-1864) who settled most of Washington Township in the 1820's. The cemetery sits on private property, the owner says no way, not even a small fence.
