I wondered if any listmembers might be able to tell me where I can obtain copies of (or just view in person) the original probate records dating from the 1850s? Would this be in Millersburg - or possibly at the OGS library in Nashville? I couldn't remember just what records might be stored in Nashville. I ran into a problem with the film I ordered from the FHC (#2050346, probate records P-Shreves, 1833-1860). While I was delighted to find several dozen pages on my Seabrooks family, none of these pages could be focused, and hence were totally illegible. I could tell these were for Seabrooks only because of the large handwriting on the "index tab." In rolling through the whole film, it appears the entire reel was filmed out-of-focus. I'd surely like to be able to view the originals of these records!!! Thanks, Susan Franks Leininger
